My name is Timothy Green and I have been in and out of jail, on drugs for more than half of my life, an absent father, brother, uncle, husband (when I was married) and friend. I had suicidal thoughts and almost acted on a few on them. The people I loved I kept hurting until I was incarcerated and got a chance to go into the KLM program and totally changed my life, God came in and had a bigger plan for my life. It was not an overnight thing because I had to do some work myself.
Now I have been off drugs for 8 years, I am an active father, brother, uncle, friend and now a manager at Ashley Furniture Store, I have my rights back, voted for the first time and I can walk down the street with my head held high.
